Aerospace Engineer

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aerospace Engineers II for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of engineering work in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft. Designs and supervises the construction of aircrafts and associated parts such as airframe, auxiliaries, communication equipment, controls, fuselage, and powerplant. This individual supporting this position will be accomplishing data review and analysis that requires experience with aircraft structures, preferably related to Airbus A320 aircraft. The tasks will be related to upgrading Airbus A319/320 aircraft to a higher weight variant. Additional experience with FAA regulations and aircraft compliance and configuration control is recommended. The candidate must be a quick learner, enthusiastic, and detail oriented. 

Qualifications and requirements:

• 4+ years experience required. 
• Must be familiar with CFR’s and DOT regulations pertaining to aircraft cabin interiors.
• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Understanding and experience with major airline processes is preferred.

• Mechanical Design experience in aircraft interior modifications required.

• Experience with monuments and how they attach to the aircraft.

• AutoCAD/Solidworks experience required.

• Composite design experience a plus.

• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
