Logistics Coordinator
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for an opportunity in Minneapolis, MN.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for leading and directing the execution of material demand planning, overseeing complex make/buy analsys for procurement and production activiites, and leading the development of manufacturing methods and operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience of coordinating logistics or supply chain.
- College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of program and production management processes and manufacturing throughput.
- Must be self-starting, detail-oriented and an effective planner. Must also have specific knowledge of engineering workflows, configuration control and change management. Demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving.
- Must be able to coordinate with internal and external suppliers on technical issues pertaining to engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP forecasting, planning, production scheduling, and shipping functionality and processes.
- Experience with quoting/pricing and manufacturing methods.
- Experience utilizing lean/six sigma principles.
- Must be able to complete a background test and drug test.
- Must be able to work overtime and open to any shift.
