Resin Application Technician - Weekend AM
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Weekday Shift PM Resin Application Technician for an opportunity in Marysville, Washington.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Resin Application Technician will operate machinery in the resin application department to produce honeycomb core blocks.
- Resin Application Operator. Operation of machinery located within the Resin Application Department,
- Includes but is not limited to: Resin Coater #2, Resin Coater #3, Stage Cure Ovens, Post Cure Ovens, Ferry-Femco Bandsaw, Block Stretcher, Heat Presses. Also Includes basic housekeeping duties and basic machine maintenance.
- Heavy lifting, forklift and hoist operation are required.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures set forth in specifications and work instructions.
- Overtime may be required on a mandatory basis.
- Must be familiar with metric and standard measurements.
- Must be familiar with and have ability to use basic hand tools (ratchet, wrench, razor knife, measuring tape, electric drill).
- Must have good math skills to determine resin density.
- Respirators may be required in certain conditions; respirator fit testing is required in Resin Application.
- Must follow all process and safety specifications as required.
- Specialized PPE may be required for certain tasks.
- Ability to communicate, read and write in English is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs with assistance.
- Overtime may be required; willingness and ability to work OT is required.
- No tools required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
