Mechanical Design Engineer

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an opportunity in Independence, OH.

POSITION SUMMARY

Manages delivery of mid to high level complexity research, design, and development of mechanical applications to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and ground test / mechanical tests. Additionally responsible for the CAD support of design projects and execution of Engineering design changes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Business, Logistics or other related field
• Candidates must have 3 years demonstrated experience in packaging warehousing, distribution, logistics, and Lean Principles Demonstrated experience associated with the development and management of budgets, safety requirements, standard work, processes, and project management
