Reefer Trailer Technician

Pay: $32-$40P/H DOE
Shift:
4 -10 - hour shifts!!
4AM to 2:30 PM Sunday thru Wednesday
Noon to 10:30 PM Wednesday thru Saturday
Reefer Trailer Responsibilities:
- As a Reefer Mechanic servicing Prairie Farms Dairy, you will perform all levels of maintenance services, with the primary focus on refrigeration units such as Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers.
- Be able to test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment.
- Read complex schematics associated with refrigeration equipment.
- Identify warrantable repairs and document orders.
- Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor trailer maintenance as required.
- Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
- Perform system repairs to include engines, hydraulic systems, tires, electrical and A/C.

Qualified Candidates For The Diesel Mechanic Position Will Have Met The Following:
Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Must have experience as a reefer or Thermo King/Carrier mechanic.
Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components required
CDL license **Preferred**
Strong communication (written and verbal) a must.
Computer skills: MS Office, Gmail, TMT (Maintenance Software)
Diagnostic skills preferred (Cummins, MX, Detroit, Paccar)
Own set of tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
Working Conditions:
Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
