Merchandising Administrative Assistant
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Merchandising Administrative Assistant for an opportunity in Woodridge, IL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Merchandising Administrative Assistant role will provide support to the Merchandising Department requiring a proactive and collaborative person who is responsible for overseeing the product life cycle from beginning to end.
The ideal candidate would:
- Demonstrate an upbeat attitude, a solid work ethic and the ability to take ownership and pride in their work
- Exhibit strong attention to detail as well as the ability to perform accurately and productively in a fast-paced environment
- Have a desire to grow along with the Company
- Enjoy collaborating on projects, be sticklers for process and upholding industry best practices
- Work well independently and as a team, take responsibility for the quality of their work and overall success of the team
- Set up new items and new products. Enter attributes, copy, upsells and more
- Manage and track assortment plan
- Perform quality inspection on new items/products
- Order samples from vendors and maintain consistent follow up
- Competitive review/analysis
- Optimize category presentation
- Create client-specific sales listings that include images, descriptions, and more
- Verify proper setup of NEW exclusive items for wholesale customers
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum 1 year prior work experience that demonstrates skill level, commitment and reliability
- Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to type at least 30 wpm
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Proven track record of organizing and executing projects and meeting deadlines
