Press Brake Operator

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Press Brake Operators for an opportunity in Arlington, WA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Seeking dependable and safety orientated candidates with the ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing shop environment. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating the press brake to assemble metal by shaping, locking, staking, and press fitting. Successful candidate will provide and value quality workmanship and will strive to meet and exceed productivity standards while adjusting to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Operate manual and hydraulic press brakes.
• Install specified dies on machine bed.
• Position and clamp holding fixture to machine bed.
• Review and interrupt prints and drawings; self-check dimensions and tolerances.
• Align parts between dies and/or position against fixtures on machine.
• Performs set ups and bend sequences of machine.
• Arrange work flow to minimize set up times.
• Team oriented.
• Strong communication skills: Ability to listen, ask questions, document actions, communicate irregularities, update logs, and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Strong problem solving skills, analytical.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical and cost consciousness.
• Read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to walk on a regular basis, stand or sit for extended periods of time, stand using sense of touch, reach with hands/arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crawl. Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
