Shipping and Receiving Lead
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead
for an opportunity in Everett, WA.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises the shipping/receiving department
- Monitors the delivery of materials to production lines and storage of materials.
- Oversees the implementation and accuracy of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Verifies freight bills, work orders and invoices.
- Prepares special prototype, pilot, and directs orders for shipment, completes all necessary paperwork and makes arrangements to ship.
- Performs as shipping/receiving associate, as necessary.
- Delivers and picks up material to and from customer locations using company truck.
- Follows safety rules and keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain inventory and orders packaging supplies (corrugated, film, staples, tape, etc.)
- Other duties as necessary, including assistance with some assembly tasks on the Production floor.
- Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems or similar
- Forklift operation.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or GED required. Associates Degree preferred.
- Three years’ supervisory experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
- Material handling experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
- knowledge of MS Project.
