LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a junior buyer for an opportunity in Arlington, WA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Preferred candidates will have aerospace purchasing experience, role requires the ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events; Attention to detail, ability to balance multiple work assignments; organized work habits; ability to work independently. Proficiency with major software programs including MS Office Suite 

Qualifications and requirements:

• Buyer purchases materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures and optimizes price, delivery, and terms; purchases complex items where detailed specification is involved.
• Generate and process purchase orders to buy production (inventory & non-inventory) goods, tools and supplies, office and warehouse needs as assigned 
• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
• Experience in ERP data entry & reports.
• Experience or background in Commercial or Military Aerospace is a plus.
• Suggests, investigates, implements, monitors and reports on cost savings initiatives; develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
