Project Manager

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Project Manager is responsible for the following tasks and not limited to:

• Collaborates with a variety of personnel to gather information regarding internal business processes and translate this information into clear and concise written processes
• Audits, evaluates, organizes and refines established processes to streamline and improve communication
• Solicits feedback from users so as to verify accuracy of documentation
• Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements
• Stores completed documents in correct formats and locations
• Utilizes appropriate communication tools such as flow charts, and graphics to enhance communication effectiveness Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience creating business operations documentation in a technical environment.
• Must have experience developing and/or implementing new processes and/or software solutions in an aerospace engineering (or equivalent) environment.
• Must have computer skills and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office programs as well as familiarity with engineering software systems (CAD, PDM/PLM). Web design and programming experience a plus.
• Must possess working knowledge of aerospace engineering software, data, processes, and procedures.
• Must be organized and an effective project manager, presenting good communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Must be familiar with technical documentation, including aerospace industry specifications and standards.
• Ability to read, write, and modify technical documentation. Experience working and communicating with engineers.
• Professional level written and verbal communication skills to include writing, proofreading and editing highly detailed documents
• Advanced MSOffice skills
• High level abilities in independently meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and prioritizing work duties
• Must be willing to work evenings/ weekends when required to meet operational needs.
• Knowledge of or experience with TechOps policies and procedures in the development and/or execution of aircraft modifications, alterations, repairs or maintenance programs is desired.
