Diesel Technician

Shift: Sun – Thurs, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00/hr., depending on experience

Lead Shop Foreman Responsibilities:

• Administrative work in regards to work performed; complaint/cause/correction.
• Diagnose engine problems and troubleshoot electrical and air system problems.
• Correct any structural repairs on the company's fleet.
• Perform bumper to bumper repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform some interior repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualified Candidates For The Lead Shop Foreman Position Will Have Met The Following:

Required:

• Equivalent of HS diploma or GED & 3+ years diesel mechanic/foreman experience.
• General knowledge of EGR, air and ABS brake systems, DC electrical systems, etc.
• Must provide own steal toe boots.
• Must provide own tools.

Preferred:

• Experience with Freightliners or Detroit Engines a plus
• Experience with chassis' and drivelines' a plus
• Experience with hubs and wheel seals a plus
• Experience with air conditioning systems a plus
