Diesel Technician
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Shift: 1st and 2nd shifts available
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Routine and preventative maintenance on diesel powered equipment.
- Complete minor repairs of fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (Drive Cam).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work in a safe manner, per company, local, state and federal policies and regulations.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED & 2+ years of related maintenance and repair.
- Must furnish own tools and steel toe boots.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- CDL, or ability to obtain.
- ASE certificate preferred but not required.
- Trade school diploma or certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds.
