Inspector
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Inspector with corporate jet experience for an opportunity in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assure that documentation on aircraft is properly updated, maintained, and executed before returning aircraft to customer.
- Research aircraft records as required and generate aircraft status reports to assist service managers and the production department.
- Communicate with chief inspector, service managers and production personnel as necessary.
- Assist A&P technicians with locating technical documentation.
- Research any additional information for chief inspector and service managers as necessary.
- Ensure that all mechanics have acquired the proper documents to inspect the aircraft effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure that the facility research library is updated as required.
- Perform record keeping complying with regulatory requirements for the repair station.
- Maintain all calibrated tools and equipment.
- Receiving and inspection of overhauled, repaired or customer supplied parts.
- Manage aircraft maintenance records and promote customer aircraft maintenance program.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Conform with all safety rules and wear/use all appropriate safety equipment.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have 3+ years inspection experience on corporate jet or turbo prop aircraft. These include, but are not limited to, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, Citation, Piaggio, HondaJet, Hawker, etc.
- Must have a valid A&P license (6+ months usage in the last 24 months)
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance inspection procedures and manufacturer or FAA approved operator inspection forms.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of FAA guidelines and regulations,
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
