TIG Welder
Job Summary:
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking qualified TIG Welders to support our client manufacturing operations in Arlington, WA
Job Requirements
Candidate must have a minimum of 1 years prior experience in TIG welding and blueprint knowledge with thin gauge sheet metal in aluminum, stainless and mild steel.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- TIG welding experience, tubing, pipe and shapes that meet or exceed company and quality standards in a productive manner.
- Weld parts per blueprints and specifications.
- Interpret assembly drawings and tolerances.
- Reads and understands blue prints, isometric drawings and work orders
- Ensure compliance with and follow documented Quality/ISO/AS9100 procedures as well as company and department policy.
- Prepares materials for welding; cuts, grinds and cleans metal. Utilizes fabrication skills to complete all phases of fabrication.
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic math, including working with decimals, and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Able to perform detailed work with a strong attention to detail and quality.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Metrology Certification a plus
- Knowledge and use of common hand tools and metal fabrication equipment
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
