Installation Technicians Cummins Crosspoint (Contract - Hire 120 Days) (Total 4 Technicians Needed) Open to candidates from Indianapolis, no overnights in Lafayette. But from talking to Chris Harper we don't have to only look around Lafayette they will talk to people willing to make the drive or commute from Indy. This work will be performed at one of their customer's sites in Lafayette. (The customer is Wabash National Trailer Plant). These apprentice technicians will be paired up with a Cummins mechanic and will be helping them pull and run wires on 53 foot refrigerated trailers. Joe said he doesn't even need techs, just people who have hand tools, can take direction, and show up everyday on time. He also said they only need basic hand tools and Cummins will supply any type of specialty tools. He is looking for mechanically inclinded technicians said he was open to automtive. But electrical experience or any experience on trailers would be ideal if we can locate but again not a requirement per Joe. Pay: $14-$16 P/H Shift: M-F 7AM-4PM he said there will be 40 + hours a week so very good chance for overtime. He also said that he is flexible on shift and is willing to work with and accomodate the right candidate.
