Conventional Machinist

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Conventional Machnist for a position in Liberty Lake, WA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities will include the use and setup of manual and CNC machining equipment; the use of basic machinist’s tools and measuring equipment; reading and following work instructions; filling out necessary forms; tracking job quantities; reading and interpreting part drawings; and performing basic computer tasks (Uploading part programs, punching in and out of jobs, filling out forms, printing documentation, checking email, etc.).

Qualifications and requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to use basic measuring tools (Calipers, Height Gage, Dial Indicator etc.)
• Ability to use basic hand tools (Hammers, Vices, Wrenches, Deburring Tools, Drills, etc.)
• Must exhibit excellent reading and math skills.
• Experience with manual machining.
• Experience with CNC machining preferred. Experiencing with CNC programming a plus.
• Experience applying GD&T, and ability to apply basic geometry and mathematical principles.
• Able to work with various individuals and departments in a team environment
• Quality conscious attitude and pride of ownership in designated responsibilities.
• Able to learn new skills quickly.
