A&P Engine Mechanic
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking A&P Engine Mechanics with corporate jet experience for an opportunity in Augusta, Georgia.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
A&P Engine Mechanics perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbine engines and APUs.
- Disassembly and re-assembly of all engine types and models.
- Document all engine discrepancies, troubleshooting and repairing discrepancies and describing work accomplished in inspection paperwork.
- Accomplish Service Bulletins, repair letters, and Air-worthiness Directive, as required.
- Remove and reinstall engines on aircraft for major periodic inspections and core zone inspections.
- Perform incoming and outgoing engine runs and line maintenance, as required.
- Accomplish all aspects of airframe removal and reinstallation, engine inspection and repair on road trips to accommodate customer aircraft.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Current A&P license required (6 months of documented experience within the last 2 years).
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as an A&P mechanic in the corporate aviation industry, specifically Rolls Royce BR-710 and AE3007 shop or on-wing experience.
- Must have mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Must have the minimum tools as required.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
