Plaster
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Plaster Tech for an opportunity in Auburn, Washington.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Plasters will pour liquid plaster into mandrels to form molds according to Standard Work Instructions.
- De-mold plaster parts and clean to requirements; preparing molds for curing process, doing simple light hand sanding, and removing excess plaster.
- Meet schedules and time allowance for production requirements.
- Report on all production discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
- Perform plaster repair.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental control standards.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes workplace safety.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Experience with the use of basic hand and power tools.
- Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work and communicate well with a diverse work group.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
