First Student - School Bus Mechanics

Contract - Hire 120 Days
Permanent spots, per John Finn VP of maintenance and Warren Weaver our primary point of contact

John Finn - is our highest and most powerful contact with FGA this is an order that we need to have eyeballs on and they will be checking in progress. We will be negotiating a new contract with them in the summer, this is our biggest chance to show them what we are capable of and gives us a leg to stand on in negotiations in the summer.

Pay: $22-$30 P/H DOE, we have someone looking for more feel free to present and let them know what the candidate is looking for

Shift: Will be a night shift, so please let candidates know that. They really want candidates to be flexible, some of the work will be done when the buses are not in circulation so that is why the late night work. Weekend work is also more than likely part of this, openess or being receptive to weekends will be part of this. Full time work, if your candidate has certain hours they can work please let John and Warren know and they can tell us if they can consider the candidate

Few smaller van like buses that are gas powered
Open to diesel technicians, gas medium light duty, candidates with CNG, propane experience. Basically one of the 4 buckets if person has expeirence they would like to see the resume.

Technicians will be doing preventative and routine maintenance as well as assisting with DOT inspections, electrical wiring, brakes, lights, open to automotive technicians that have had good electrical experience in the past. But seemed very open just need 8 solid technicians as quickly as possible. We submit what is available.

Must have own tools
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
CDL - preferred not required
Must be able to pass EMP Checks
Must be able to pass CRIM & DMV Checks
Must be able to pass FMCSA DOT Drug Screen
Must be able to pass DOT Physical
