Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for an opportunity in Arlington, WA. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager directs, coordinates and schedules activities for the purpose of budget and forecast formulation.

• Coordinate data collection from various departments throughout the year, and analyzed for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor, alter and approve spending to ensure expenses are in line with plan.
• Analyze and prepare comparative reports of actual and budget spending, Sales, Cost of Sales and Margins.
• Collaborate with production departments to prepare monthly P&L forecasts.
• Monitor daily P&L transactions, approved expenditure to model likely periodic P&L outcomes.
• Monitor and report overhead rates, production demand (Hrs.) and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Interface with CFO, CEO and department managers to ensure spending plans, Headcount and CapEx costs align with budget or revised forecasts.
• Perform a variety of other complicated tasks, including but not limited to CapEx Justification, Make/Buy decisions and others as assigned.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• The role is highly analytical and modeling based.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Frequent communication with operating departments required. 

Qualifications and requirements: 

• A first degree in Financial Management or Accounting
• 5 Plus years of experience
• Highly skilled in Excel
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical thinking
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have good interpersonal skills
