Quality Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Quality Engineer for an opportunity in Lexington, KY
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Engineer is resposible supporting the electrical fabrication and assembly of parts on a production floor. The candidate works with hardware includes electrical harness fabrication and electrical assemblies. The candidate erforms a variety of activities to insure accuracy and completeness of technical fabrication documentation and test processes.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Able to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods to turn materials into products
- Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics
- Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex
- Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning
- Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
