Brake Press Operator
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Brake Press Operator for a position in Kent, WA
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and strives to improve safety, quality and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. Satisfies customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery in a safe manner, while maximizing productivity. Sets up and /or operates power press brake machine to bend, form, or straighten material as specified by work order and customer requirements.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 5+ years of previous Press Brake experience
- General Computer knowledge and experience in manufacturing setting
- Ability to read an interpret Boeing drawings, PCM’s and PL
- Mechanically inclined, production oriented, safety and quality conscious
- Basic math skills
- Proven reliability
- Self-motivated with ability to work under general supervision
- Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance using measuring devices and drawings.
- Team oriented with effective communication skills
- Fine motor and gross motor coordination
- Functional literacy
- Able to stand and work on feet for entire shift
- High School Degree or GED
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
