Contract to Direct 180
Shift: M-Sat with Sun and 1 day durign the week off
Pay: $20+
*Lots of OT, typically 50 hours or more a week
*Medical Insurance is offered, but no paid time off
Well established, growing and reputable leading truck/tractor repair company has
an opportunity for diesel mechanic. If you have a minimum of two (2) years
verifiable experience as a heavy duty diesel mechanic, are a self-starter, have a
passion for hard work, and possess attention to detail, you may qualify for this
opportunity. Excellent compensation package depending upon experience.
Essential Qualifications and Functions:
2+ plus years’ experience as a diesel mechanic
Mechanical ability and experience with diesel engine, drive train, and
chassis repair, air, 2 years electrical and hydraulic brake systems
Must have reliable transportation
Must know how to do brakes, leaf springs, bushing, oil changes, swap tires etc…
Experience with electrical troubleshooting is a plus
Specialty tools and diagnostic computer equipment supplied
ASE Certification preferred
CDL, Class A is desired
Have proper documentation to begin immediately
Verifiable references and reliable work record
Customer Service attitude and experience
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
