Quality Inspector

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Quality Inspectors with experience insepcting commercial aircraft parts for an opportunity in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The work center inspector is responsible for ensuring product which is manufactured (in their responsible work center) is per all customer requirements prior to being accepted.

  • They are also responsible to support work center by answering questions regarding interpretation of LMI/customer requirements and how they apply.
  • In addition, they are responsible to support flowing down their work centers quality data in a timely manner. In all actions supports LMI's Quality Policy, Mission Statement and other LMI policies and procedures by supporting our commitment to total customer satisfaction, quality products and services, lean processes, continuous improvement, on-time delivery, safety, teaming, individual accountability and respect for people.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • High school and/or one year of experience on inspection process.

  • Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and blueprints.

  • Experience with inspection measurement tools.

  • Demonstrated decision-making ability utilizing good judgment in determining the appropriate guideline, procedure, and application to utilize in solving problems.

  • Experience in aerospace environment preferred.

  • Must have knowledge of Job Scope Manufacturing software.

  • Must have experience with High gage, Caliper, Vernier, Blueprint interpretation, GD&T, Protractor. 

  • Must have the minimum tools as required.
  • Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
