Dimensional Inspector

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Dimensional Inspector with experience on Commercial aircraft Landing Gears for an opportunity in Opa-Locka,FL.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Dimensional Inspectors will inspect aircraft Landing Gear in accordance with proper procedures, methods and operations in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.

Qualifications and requirements:

• No A&P License required.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of calculating dimensional measurements, having the 'EYE' visually able to determine material, corrosive area's and limits. Understands how to use basic measurement instruments, special tools, equipment, etc.
• Receiving inspection of components to determine airworthiness.
• Visually inspecting aircraft components to verify compliance in accordance with technical data 'CMM, OHM, Blueprints'.
• Dimensionally inspecting aircraft components to verify compliance in accordance with technical data 'CMM,OHM,Blueprints'.
• Determine applicable repair processes in case rework is required for return to service.
• Post re-work inspection to verify proper completion of all task in accordance with technical data.
• Performs tasks while using proper safety techniques and procedures.
• Must have the minimum tools as required.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
