Manager of Scheduled Maintenance 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Manager of Scheduled Maintenance for an opportunity in Greensboro, NC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains a safe working environment for all assigned personnel.
• Is responsible for all scheduled maintenance activities (A-check/Phase check and above).
• Works closely with the Manager of Maintenance Planning to ensure timely/efficient scheduling/completion of scheduled maintenance.
• Schedules hangar maintenance personnel to ensure proper coverage
• Works closely with contract labor providers to ensure properly trained and authorized personnel are available to assist when necessary.
• Closely monitors heavy maintenance vendor’s performance to ensure timely redelivery of aircraft.
• Manages maintenance expenditure to ensure cost efficiency is maintained.
• Works in concert with Materials personnel to ensure timely delivery of required items.
• Monitors and tracks status of all aircraft in scheduled maintenance.
• Reports status of aircraft in scheduled maintenance to DOM on a daily basis.
• Evaluates upcoming maintenance requirements to ensure proper tooling is readily available.
• Works closely with the Manager of Technical Services to ensure timely/efficient completion of aircraft modifications

Qualifications and requirements:

• 5+ years of experience performing hands-on maintenance on large aircraft.
• 5+ years of experience supervising five or more personnel in aircraft heavy maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid FAA A&P License required.
• B-737 Gen Fam preferred.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
