CNC Programmer

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC programmer for an opportunity in Hayden, Idaho.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

The CNC Machine Programmer will program and prove out CNC programs used to cut various assigned composite materials and parts using a CNC Mill or a CNC Router. The successful candidate will ensure that machines are programmed properly, on time, safely, and parts meet or exceed quality standards.

Qualifications and requirements: 

  • Versatile team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Previous experience producing machined parts in a contract manufacturing or job-shop environment
  • Strong ability to comfortably manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Previous experience with setup & operation of Haas machining centers (CNC Routers a plus)
  • Familiarity with the safe & efficient operation of machine tools
  • Ability to read & interpret manufacturing drawings including GD&T
  • 3D CAD experience strongly desired (Catia V5 preferred)
  • Recent experience with Inventor HSM or PowerMill
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to excel under limited supervision
  • Strong Time management skills
  • Inventor HSM/PowerMill experience with a minimum of 5 years developing/writing CNC programs.
