School Bus Technician First Student (Contract - Hire 120 Days) Looking for skilled, experienced school bus technician. Tech will be asked to do routine and preventative maintenance on an extensive fleet of diesel powered school buses. Tech will also be asked to assist with frequent DOT inspections they regularly conduct. And any other tasks assigned by Austin Moler (Service Manager) FLEET - Diesel Powered School Buses Majority are IC (International Buses) They also have a few Cummins -So any school bus experience in paticular working on IC or Cummins would make for an awesome candidate. Shift: 9AM-6 PM M-F Pay: $21P/H DOE Must have own tools Must have steel toe boots Must be able to pass FMCSA DOT drug screen Must be able to pass DOT Physical Must be able to pass CRIM & DMV Checks CDL - Preferred Not Required If person does not have CDL they must be willing to obtain within te 120 day probationary period. FGA can also assist with training and guidance to obtain CDL. ASE - Preferred Not Required Must be able to pass 10 yr EMP Check Must be at least 18 years of age Possess a combination of education & technical experience adding up to a minimum of 5 years High Value on Master Certified ASE Technicians, if we come across someone like that they could potentially go over the pay scale listed.
