CNC Machine Operator
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Machine Operator opportunity in Kinston, NC.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Machine Fabrication Technician sets up, fabricates, and verifies parts by operating conventional and computerized numerical controlled (CNC) machines and mediums or secondary hand and power tool operations such as hand or power feed drill presses, operate duplicating, numerical milling, profiling machines, vertical turret lathes, horizontal and/or jig boring mills, various types of milling machines, radial drill presses, engine lathes and determine and select cutting tools and fixtures for Machining aircraft parts using precision grinding machines. Maintain and make ready crib.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Entry level position.
- Good math skills.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Basic blue print skills preferred..
- General mechanical skills preferred.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
