Lead Power Mechanic

Pay: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Mon. - Fri. , overtime available
Equipment: container lifts, light forklifts, heavy forklifts, spotter trucks and other vehicles both gasoline and diesel.

Lead Power Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain facility equipment including spotter trucks, container lifts, light and heavy forklifts, mobile vans, pickup trucks, and earth moving equipment.
• Schedule, record, and track all facility equipment to ensure proper services are completed as needed and reported issues are resolved to meet safety requirements.
• Provide instruction on proper care of equipment to other user and operators as needed. 
• Direct other members of the Power Shop Team to ensure efficient workflow and proper documentation of jobs performed.

Lead Power Mechanic Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to pass FMCSA DOT Drug Test
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical Tools are required
• Must have steel toe boots
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to pass CRIM and DMV Checks
• Must have valid DL
• CDL - strongly preferred
