The Sr. Data Analyst / Supply Chain Analyst - Manufacturing will be responsible for financial model development and analyses regarding asset transactions alongside Company counterparts. Company offers a wide range of capabilities such as servicing engines and components, providing material support, and interior reconfiguration. This position works to collect and improve business intelligence to continuously refine financial models including volume expectations, timing, cost drivers and forward-looking estimations. This position requires strong analytical capabilities with quick adaptation to understand Company cost drivers of 3rd party market dynamics. The ability to communicate with functional teams and leadership, collaborate cross functionally, and continually refine processes and analyses is critical to driving the best decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management, finance, or equivalent work experience required along with a minimum of 3-5 years of related technical and/or data analysis experience.
- Candidate must possess strong technical skills, with an emphasis on Excel, database querying, model management, and report development.
- Must have strong organizational, communication (both oral and written), time management, and analytical skills along with the ability to develop effective relationships.
- Should have demonstrated initiative and work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to work with confidential information, moderate supervision and should be able to work under strict deadlines and on multiple projects concurrently.
- Responsible for the construction and maintenance of financial models.
- Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and reporting.
- Coordinates with TechOps departments to quantify required material demand and detail expected volumes and timing to incorporate into the analysis.
- Aggregate views of data sources into meaningful hierarchies.
- Support process improvement for both individual business units and cross-divisional initiatives.
- Develops scenario analysis and sensitivity matrices to evaluate strategic business opportunities.
- Continually reviews model and assumptions to ensure that models produce accurate results.
- Develop and/or support development of presentations to articulate analyses.
- Present findings to TechOps leaders.
