Project Planner (UAL – Wichita)
This is an administrative role, in a hangar environment
Reporting to the Planning Manager the planner role is responsible for organizing, auditing and being
accountable for all job tasks associated with the projects in work.
The planner role will manage job cards, and audit cards for FAA and customer compliance,
Planner will also assist with flow and with sequence tasks for efficiency of work and status of task.
Planner will also be responsible for data entry into Empower MX and customer based electronic data
base.
Planner will be responsible for building digital and hard copy work packages
Planner will provide project status updates on meetings as needed.
Planner will be responsible for scanning and shipping records
Planner will additionally have aircraft side duties as required by the Project Supervisor to include escort
of visitors, light duty items with aircraft/ramp as needed, ramp driving and lift truck duties to support the
maintenance effort.
Assist with scheduling as needed
Skills needed:
• A&P or A License preferred.
• Some MRO experience desired
• MRO ERP experience
• Empower MX experience a plus.
• Must be able to interact with Client and Teams Leadership as needed
• Be able to multi task.
• Know Excel, Office, Teams etc.
• Be able to research technical data and AMM References as needed
• Customer interaction and service experience desired
• Need to be able to utilize office equipment
• Need to have experience with shipping and receiving
