Trailer Refurbishing Technician 

LAUNCH TransTechs is looking for a Trailer Refurbishing Technician to complete body repairs on trailers in East Point, GA.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hr., depending on experience
Shift: M – F, 2^nd shift

Trailer Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Repair or replace trailer panels, walls, floors, etc. and install TK units, lift gates and work with trailer lighting.
• Complete body repairs, which includes body panel, roof and side rails, flooring, roofs, door conversion, etc. on walk in and reefer trailers.
• Correctly perform repairs and inspections on trailers.
• Perform repairs and modifications on all styles of trailers as assigned.
• Maintain allocated time frame on all repairs and modifications.
• Repair electrical and run trailer wiring.
• Keep work area clean, safe and clutter free.
• Maintaining a service record of all trailer vehicles.
• Appropriately use and handle testing tools and repair equipment.
• Train other employees.
• Any other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications and Requirements:

• Equivalent of High School diploma or GED and minimum of one year related experience on trailers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have steel toe boots.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
