Position Summary:
Provide business support in an aerospace manufacturing company. The customer service representative will process and schedule sales orders daily and ensure customer issues are dealt with accurately, fairly, consistently, and in a timely manner.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurately process sales orders coming into the company including daily monitoring of incoming orders all accounts, generate instructions to the shop, and coordinate shipping of product to customers.
  • Serves as liaison between sales, manufacturing staff, and customer; communication with customer on activities in these areas is essential to the delivery of customer service
  • Ensure data integrity, as it relates to pricing, delivery and customer programs.
  • Regularly interact with internal and external customers.
  • Resolve customer problems with shipment, pricing, invoicing and other sales related questions.
  • Participate in daily discussions with operations on customer updates and departmental tasks.
  • Comply with customer order specification and ensure flow-down to internal departments.
  • Correspond with customers and representatives on pricing, availability of product, and quotes as directed by management.
  • Process and coordinate request for quotes from customers with the pricing team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
  • 4-year degree in business or related field preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; JDE experience

Highly Desired:
 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing; aerospace experience a plus
  • Must possess strong sales order administrator skills for difficult or sensitive customer situations and response promptly
  • Must demonstrate aptitude for creative problem resolution; conflict resolution, negotiating, persuading and speaking with others as wells as responding appropriately to all levels of the organization
  • Cooperative, positive, courteous and professional behavior and conduct is essential
  • Must possess a high degree of interpersonal skills in order to facilitate a team environment
  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in a business/manufacturing environment
