Aerospace Mechanic Assembler
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aerospace Mechanic Assembler for an opportunity in Salt Lake City UT.
Requirements:
Entry-level in aerospace, but with the following skills:
- Experience with hand tools
- Some assembly experience
- Familiar with blueprint interpretation
- Composite material experience (fabrication and assembly) preferred
- Looking for positive team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environment
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
- Successful candidates will be building commercial aerospace products with cutting edge technology and a great team.
Job Description:
Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations
Prepares aircraft parts for painting
Makes necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes
Performs machine set-up, machining and fabricating of sheet metal and extrusion
Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products
Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests
Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks
Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.
