VP of Finance (Direct Hire Opportunity)
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a VP of Finance for an opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President Finance/Controller will be responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s financial function, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury (cash management), FP&A, corporate development, strategic planning, internal and external audit, tax and risk management. The Vice President Finance/Controller will proactively partner with the CEO and the management team to increase enterprise value through the attainment of operational and financial goals. S/he will be a key member of the executive management team and play a key role in developing and executing the overall strategic plan of the business. Additionally, s/he will optimize corporate earning power and cash flow by helping the business identify and capture revenue and margin growth, cost reduction and operational efficiency opportunities.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate is an accomplished financial executive with unquestionable integrity, a positive reputation and demonstrated success serving as a standalone the Vice President Finance/Controller within a private equity-backed or publicly listed company. S/he will be well-rounded in all aspects of the financial function, including controllership, treasury, accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, FP&A, tax, business development, investor relations and information systems. The Vice President Finance/Controller will be operationally oriented, hands-on, and a leader in driving continued growth and margin expansion for the company. Additionally, s/he will also have experience planning, budgeting and assisting in the execution of strategic initiatives with direct accountability to the Board of Directors.
- Vice President Finance or CFO experience within an organization of similar scale and complexity
- Vice President Finance or CFO level experience within a private equity-backed company
- Strong analytical/FP&A experience and operational bias—a track record of driving company performance through analytics that support operations, perhaps evidenced by a division finance leadership role reporting to the P&L owner
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting or another applicable curriculum CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Candidates who are well-rounded functionally and ready to step into a Vice President Finance/Controller CFO role will be given consideration.
