We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field. Electrical Engineers research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft systems. You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle of fully integrated systems.

 
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. 

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

  • Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools

  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams

 
Preferred:

  • Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis

  • Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD or others

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

  • Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)

  • Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)

  • Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
