POSITION SUMMARY

The training coordinator is responsible for the ‘administrative’ side of the business; He/she will need to be ‘well versed’ in excel, word and PDF. Training sessions for employees may also include safety policies and procedures, sexual harassment awareness training, and any others as assigned. Position will also have direct hands-on involvement dealing with all programs associated to the Learning Management System (LMS).

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Coordinate training of maintenance & inspection personnel.
  • Maintain training records, manually and through computer database.
  • Maintain technical library to support in-house training requirements.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
  • High School/ GED
  • A.A. in Aviation Management preferred

Experience:
  • Experience in Instructional Systems Design


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrates and knowledge of procedures being taught.
  • Able to communicate clearly in written and verbal documents
  • Maintain training records, manually and through computer database (LMS system)
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF X.
  • Maintain an FAA approved company-training manual.
  • Maintain management reports from training database/LMS.
  • Maintain technical library to support in-house training requirements.
  • Perform any/all administrative functions of the Training Department as assigned.
  • As required/requested, can assist in New Hire Employee Orientation.
  • Assist Training Manager and/or Instructors in preparation for Technical Training.
  • Coordinate and maintain Training manuals and training support equipment
Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
  • Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
