COMPENSATION / SCHEDULE
Weekly Pay (on 40 hours) / PACKAGE RATE: LOCAL 
ST. Pay range – DOE

• 3-5 years - $24-25/hr
• 5-8 years - $25-27/hr
• 9-14 years - $28-30/hr
• 15+ years - $30-36/hr

OT: 1.5x offer

WORK SCHEDULE: 
5/8  or 4/10 shift schedule (possibility to move to 2^nd shift (if preferred) after training)

• Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
• Monday – Thursday, 5am – 3:30pm
• Tuesday – Friday, 5am – 3:30pm
• 2^nd shift hours are 3pm – 1:30am

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

• 3+ years aviation mechanic experience either fixed wing or rotorcraft 
• A&P License strongly preferred (not required)
• Ability to reach /interpret blueprints, engineering drawings & technical publications.
• Highschool diploma or GED

JOB DESCRIPTION – FORMATTED TO BE SHARABLE

The General Mechanic performs work on assigned aircraft including assembly, repair, and modification of mechanical assemblies and subassemblies adhering to FAA guidelines.
 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Bench assembles, and installs major mechanical components and systems on aircraft
• Performs functional test of mechanical components and systems on aircraft
• Corrects discrepancies using information from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, or other documents as required
• Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, schematics, blueprints and other applicable technical data to assemble, install or replace aircraft components
• Uses manufacturing shop stamp or test stamp to sign off completed work to include manufacturing planning, test procedures, inspection discrepancy records, product assurance records and applicable program documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work area
• Other duties may be assigned.
