Staff Accountant

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant for an opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assist with monthly closing process
? Bank recs
? Credit card and other revolving account reconciliations
? Maintain fixed asset ledger
? Preparation of standard month-end close entries
? Support accounts payable activities and invoice matching
? Assist with preparation of schedules for external financial auditors
? Resolve inventory/receiving issues which affect payables processing and data accuracy
? Post cash receipts and monitor credit card balances
? Prepare customer invoices and enter into ERP system
? Perform financial analysis including budget vs actual variance analysis and work order job costing
? Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
? Ad hoc reports and analysis as required by senior management
 

Qualifications and requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting
Experience:
? 2+ years’ experience in accounting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
? Proficient in Excel
? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
? Quantum ERP experience a plus
? Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively
? Communication Skills: Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
? Organizational skills: Ability to organize thoughts and projects with keen attention to detail
