Government Contract Compliance Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant for an opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Education:
- Education: Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of business or related experience. A master's degree in business is highly desirable. Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Experience:
- Must have 8 years of contract management experience in support of Federal government prime contracts.
- Must have 5+ years of experience managing other Contracts professionals
- Previous Management experience required.
- Negotiation experience preferred.
- NCMA certification is highly desirable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Significant ability to influence senior corporate management via strong understanding of contract law and relevant regulations
- Excellent presentation, team building, and leadership skills
- Experience managing complex contracts and programs
- Export Compliance (ITAR, EAR) experience
- FCPA knowledge
- Small Business plan creation and management
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proven excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Understanding of business and management principles
