Quality Assurance Supervisor

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor with Regional Jet Aircraft experience in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The Supervisor of Technical Audits is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Compass Airlines’ Quality Assurance Technical Auditors. This involves the leadership of a staff focused on the delivery of compliance and safety functions (oversight of the Company’s CAMP) in the carrier’s technical operations as well as with our external customers (i.e. Fuel, C.A.S.E., De-Ice and ROV Vendors).

 

Job Qualifications:

  • The applicant should be familiar with Transport Category Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Strong computer software skills including:
    • Strong Excel capabilities including pivot tables, charting, and graphing
    • Access or other database
    • Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Adobe Acrobat
  • 1-3 years of aviation experience in the areas of Transport Category Aircraft Maintenance, Inspection and Quality Control, Safety or Quality Assurance.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Business or related field
  • Experience on Embraer 170/175 aircraft
  • Experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control / Safety
  • Hold a valid FAA Airframe & Power plant Certificate
  • Basic to intermediate math / algebra level – formula / spreadsheet manipulation
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write reports on technical findings.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with aircraft heavy maintenance facilities, turbine engine repair and restoration facilities, composite construction and repair, calibration facilities, non-destructive testing (NDT), welding, aircraft component repair, overhaul, manufacturing, machining and plating facilities and their associated standards and regulations.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with ground handling, servicing, fuel servicing ATA-103; IATA IFQP, aircraft ground de-icing and ramp operations.
