Quality Control Technician

We are currently looking to hire a full time quality technician for the 1st shift for our facility in Chicago, IL. 

The position pays 16/hour to start and overtime is 24/hour. Any candidate with 2+ years of lab experience from a food manufacturing company or GMP is qualified. 

Quality Control Technician 

•	Validation of temperatures in freezers and coolers •	Daily scale validation report•	Daily Foot bath validations•	Weekly ice examination and report for foreign material•	Monitor employee compliance to GMP’s•	Check proper conformance to color codes on utensils, etc.•	Monitor allergen control on the floor•	Allergens Validation•	Daily status on quality hold items•	Check Return products•	Check retained samples PPF location•	Maintain Retained sample program  •	Walk through inspection for exposed rust, condensation, unlabeled containers•	Check performance of finished product line inspection in packaging•	Assist in employee training as needed•	Check RTE tool sanitation compliance•	Check for presence of machine guards where applicable•	Monitor case labels, code dates•	Monitor drain cleanliness and sanitary condition •	Monitor lockout/tag out compliance•	Monitor Condensation in both rooms•	Scanned daily reports•	Assist in Sample collection•	Pallet count validation•	Assist in continuous improvement and process control projects
