Cargo QA Specialist

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Cargo QA Specialist for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for executing requirements and administering the day-to-day application of quality programs.
• Liaise between internal and external parties to assure that Client is adhering to the standards as laid out by policy, industry association guidelines, or 3rd party certifications.
• Work with multiple groups within the organization to prepare for audits, implement new initiatives, or execute on requirements for quality.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the programs and standards for quality. Summarize audit findings and prepare reports as needed. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
• Schedule will be flexible but generally 40 hours per week with occasional weekend work required.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years experience in quality programs/ISO or other quality standards.
• Able to work in fast paced operational environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals, including the ability to influence and manage upward as necessary.
• Must be highly proficient in written and oral communications and be able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents, reports, and presentations to leaders.
• Experience in quality programs, auditing, and/or policy & procedures interpretation is required.
• Knowledge of air logistics operating systems and/or WebVision is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in administering quality programs and gaining/maintaining certifications is required.
• Must have an ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain good working relationships with internal customers and external auditors.
• Knowledge of Client’s domestic and international network preferred.
• Able to understand quality program policies and requirements and assess Client’s compliance.
• Able to function as a key person within quality processes around Cargo performance, quality standards, and policy compliance.
• Must be able to work independently to address day-to-day issues and prepare for audits.
• Must be willing to travel to Client Cargo locations 
• Must be highly motivated and proactive.
