Avionics Technician
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Avionics Techs for an opportunity in Greenville, South Carolina.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs electrical harnesses and performs operational checks, post modification testing, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and avionics systems on aircraft. Assist flight line maintenance as required.
- Must be able to read and speak English. Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.
- Must have the ability to work most avionics installation tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must have the ability to interpret installation drawings, install and route electrical cable assemblies, perform multiple termination processes and perform continuity checks in accordance with standard processes.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 3+ Years of Aircraft Avionics Installation Experience on one or more of the following aircraft: P-3, C-130, F-16, F-15 and/or F-35
- Candidate will provide shadowed toolbox with etched tools per minimum inventory and specifications as detailed by the company.
- Must have ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance
- A&P License preferred.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
