Supply Chain Procurement
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist for an opportunity in Wichita, KS.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Knowledge to develop tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans.
- Using the established manufacturing process flow, defines sequences of events, develops text and graphics work instructions, manufacturing data sets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material.
- Communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts.
- Coordinates change incorporation, optimizes processes, addresses productivity issues, production & post production problems.
- Has the ability to demonstrate configuration control of the hardware, within the manufacturing build plan.
- Ability to apply process knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience or a Master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience.
- Experience with Contract negotiations and procurement of consumables and services
- Strong SAP Skills.
- Candidates will need STRONG data analytics skills.
- Assertive Problem Solver.
- Strong Aerospace experience.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
