Aircraft Painter

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Painters with familiarity in mixing and application of primers and coatings for an opportunity in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mix paint and primers.
• Apply paint and primers, as required.
• Understand the operations and maintenance of air spray equipment.
• Troubleshoot potential equipment problems and assist on repairs as necessary.
• Manufacture quality products.
• Keep records, as necessary.
• Perform operations that may require heavy lifting.
• Comply will all requirements of the waste handling training & procedures.
• Comply with all requirements of the Job Safety Analysis for this position.
• Comply with all requirements related to the care & maintenance of your required PPE.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards, and be quality conscious.
• Maintain good attendance record, be self motivated, with a willingness to learn.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Experience or familiarity in mixing and application of primers and coatings.
• Must be able to keep accurate records, as required.
• Must be able to perform operations that may require heavy lifting.
• Must be Safety, Quality Conscious and dependable.
• Must be able to pass a pulmonary function test and be able to wear a respirator.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
