Service Writer
LAUNCH TransTechs is seeking a Service Writer to be responsible for invoices and manage shop inventory in Hagerstown, MD.
Shift: M - F, 9 am - 5:30 pm
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is to maintain control over inventory.
- Control parts distribution to mechanics and technicians.
- Coordinate part orders, control inventory of parts, tires and stock part shelves.
- Maintain parts list and repair orders (ensure parts are charged out).
- Maintain a clean and organized parts room.
- Responsible for entering all invoices (i.e. parts/outside repairs).
- Coordinate parts returns with the Warranty Department.
- Track all EZ-Pass and Qualcomm.
- Handling DVCR from drivers.
- Assist Service Manager with scheduling work.
- Repair Order and Invoice Data entry.
- Any other duties assigned to support activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- The equivalent of High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of related experience.
- Excel, Word Knowledge.
- Computer Data Entry Skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
