Database Architect- Finance
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Database Architect - Finance, in Atlanta, GA
Job Summary:
As a part of the Finance Transformation effort within our client, a Major Airline, we are looking for a proven database architect to assist in the creation of a roadmap and strategy in developing data connections between numerous source systems and a new data store with integrated real time SAP financial data.
Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for developing data models within the Teradata and SAP HANA architectures while ensuring a SOX compliant governance strategy is implemented
- They will work with the business to understand the customer’s needs, and work with the IT organization to execute on the ETL strategy
- Will be an integral member of the Financial Transformation core team, laying the foundation for the Data Science and Analytics platform
- Collaborate with IT and Business to develop roadmap and push implementation of database and infrastructure projects relating to finance transformation
- Execute on a wholistic, customer oriented, data strategy from model to governance through deployment with results oriented, customer driven focus
Qualifications:
- Database Architecture & Modelling
- Proven data architect with at least 8 years of experience across data warehouse, data mining, data governance, database management and design and development of business intelligence solutions
- Deep knowledge of SAP (FICO) data tables in both HANA and ECC environments and previous experience with data replication from ECC to external databases
- Experience creating solution documentation, and design and execution of a testing strategy
- Previous experience creating connections and data streams from other data sources to SAP HANA database
