Assembler

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Assembler for an opportunity in Fredonia, Kansas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install hardware per customer requirements.
• Press fit hardware using liquid nitrogen / dry ice
• Operate arbor press to install hardware as required
• Use rivet squeezers and rivet pullers as required
• Clean and touchup finished parts to prepare for shipping.
• Earn and retain required training approvals for installation techniques
• Hand Ream bushings to finished dimension per customer engineering
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, customer parts lists and customer specifications
• Capable of using inspection equipment required such as calipers, air gauges and inside micrometers

Qualifications and requirements:

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.

• Must demonstrate the ability to stay organized and be self-motivated

• Able to concentrate, focus, and pay strict attention to detail to fulfill their role and responsibility

• Must acquire customer defined certifications as required

• Requirements include standing for prolonged periods, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, and lifting and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs.

• Noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to loud.

• Employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the plant floor.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
